Kinematic viscosity interpolation ASTM D341

Temperature en viscosity T1, v1 ºC cSt
Temperature en viscosity T2, v2 ºC cSt
Temperature en viscosity T3, v3 ºC

The viscosity of Newtonian fluids can be most precisely determined using capillary viscometers. The physical principle of measurement is based on the rate at which a fluid flows under gravity through a capillary tube.

The common equation used to calculate the viscosity by interpolation between two reference points is with the Ubbelohde-Walther equation, which is adopted in ASTM D341.
